About Us
Beardsley Gardens is Kevin and Leanne LaFond. We purchased the nursery in 2003 after deciding we wanted a business home for our 20-year-old landscaping company and a home base to raise our family.
Our philosophy of planting is the heart of our business, which is the right plant for the right place and the right person. It’s your garden. Plant what you like. Our job is to provide guidance, ideas, advice, and make your experience fun.
At first, it was just us, but the business has grown. Our manager, Kerry, came over from the Beardsley landscape side in 2008 and has proved to be a wonderful talent. Our new assistant manager, Camille, found us in 2010 and brings twenty years of experience in flowers and management.
And as we’ve grown, we’ve had fun. Horticulture is a dynamic, fascinating, satisfying and fun field to work in. And we’re very lucky because we get to play in that field everyday.
