Perennial Gardens

Cottage gardens, formal gardens, border gardens, rock gardens, moon gardens… English gardens, Japanese gardens, native gardens, “only blue and silver please” gardens… Container gardens, potagers, parterres, espalier… oh my goodness.  Wet, dry, sun, shade, and a little of everything else, gardens and our favorite: the wild and wooly, all season, uninhibited, unfettered, “oh my goodness look at the flowers” gardens.  We love perennials and finding places to plant them.

From thumbnail spaces to 2-acre hillsides, we’ve done it.  From courtyards to barnyards, we’ve done it.  Surrounded, enclosed, over there and under here, we’ve done it.  And we loved every moment!
